PMAH Community Fall Risk Screeniing

Project Mend-A-House, a non-profit organization serving seniors, veterans, the disabled and low-income residents of Prince William County, the City of Manassas, and Manassas Park, is offering fall risk screenings at NO CHARGE
to adults over 60.

Have your vision checked by an Optometrist, your gait and balance evaluated by a Physical Therapist, your medications reviewed by a Pharmacist, and meet with a Nurse who will discuss and explain your results.

Choose to participate in a research project headed by the Locomotion Research Department from Virginia Tech to further the development of new technology to help prevent falls among older adults.

Leave understanding risks specific to you but equipped with recommendations and information on how to
reduce or eliminate those risks.

Snacks and surprises will be served in a warm and welcoming environment.

Caretakers are welcome. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Call 703-670-7115, ext. 227 or email:
