Viewfinder: Occoquan Interiors (A Game of Merchant Tag: Part III)

Patch contributor played a final round of Merchant Tag for this week's Viewfinder.

Unpredictable weather and a promise made in prompted me to play a last round of on September 21.  Not only will I devise any excuse to stroll through Occoquan, but shooting interiors has proven to be once again rather enjoyable: I like the easy conversations with shopkeepers and the ability to peek behind counters and into cupboards and closets.

Sugar Buzz tagged The Pink Bicycle Tea Room two months ago.  Owner Lisa Johnson, though absent while I snapped photographs of her radiant rooms, chose to tag MJ's Ice Cream-N-More, a jovial ice cream parlor located in The Courtyard area of Union Street.

In this edition of the game, I had to modify rules by selecting the next shop since I had done a photo shoot at Lil' Bit of Posh while waiting for the tea room to open.  Owner Suzanne Monaghan was an enthusiastic participant; she tagged Spiral Creations, which opened this summer on Mill Street.

Spiral Creations owner Kathy Alden, who was coincidentally being interviewed by Lake Ridge-Occoquan Patch's very own Rachel Leon at the time I walked through the door, chose to highlight her next door neighbor, Kelly's Artbox, thus finalizing this last edition of Merchant Tag.

I hope you have enjoyed playing this virtual game of tag with me since May!  Enjoy...
