78th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale Sets Another Record

Sale Grossed in Excess of $278,000

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital is pleased to report the 78th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale was another record year. Approximately 500 volunteers helped to unload and organize the equivalent of 14 tractor-trailer loads of donated treasures. The Sale grossed in excess of $278,000 with more than 10,000 shoppers attending the Saturday-Sunday event at Morven Park Equestrian Center. Net proceeds benefit Inova Loudoun Hospital and Ladies Board nursing scholarships.

“Once again we are in awe of this wonderful community. We thank you for your donations and support of the Sale,” said Alice DiGiovanni, co-chair of the Rummage Sale. “The donations were extraordinary and ranged from skis to Limoge china and Steinbach nutcrackers as well as more traditional items such as clothing for all ages including the dog.” Shoppers came from multiple states, many for the first time, showing the wide appeal for this special fund raising event.
