Inova Loudoun Hospital celebrates 20 years of NICU families at annual reunion in Purcellville

Former NICU patients, families and caregivers invited June 6 for activities, refreshments and joyful reunions

Inova Loudoun Hospital is hosting the 20th Annual Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Reunion on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at Franklin Park in the Hillsboro Pavilion, 17501 Franklin Park Dr., Purcellville. Former NICU patients and their families are invited to join current nursing and medical staff members and other families for a fun-filled morning celebrating growth. Light refreshments and children’s activities will be provided by Inova Loudoun NICU team members.

Inova Loudoun Hospital's 24-bed expanded Level III NICU opened in April 2020 and is Loudoun County’s highest level NICU. It provides around-the-clock observation and care for premature and sick infants as young as 28 weeks. Board-certified neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs), respiratory therapists, physical therapists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, lactation consultants and dietitians offer expert care and educational and emotional support for families.
