When Kirkland’s celebrates its Grand Opening on Saturday, July 13, there will be a familiar local face and design talent in the store. Leesburg resident and interior designer Andrea Schwartz of Designz was named the local designer who will be in the store on the day of the opening from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. to assist customers with their design needs. Andrea will also work with the store for future special events and promotions.
“I was thrilled when Kirkland’s chose me to be the local designer for their Grand Opening event. I have long been a fan of their store,” said Schwartz. “Kirkland’s selection is impressive and most importantly, affordable. I have always believed that you can transform a single room in your house with just a few simple changes.”

The new and expansive Kirkland’s store is located in the Battlefield Shopping Center on Edwards Ferry Road near the Shoppers and across the street from Costco. Kirkland’s stores offer a broad selection of distinctive merchandise, including framed art, mirrors, candles, lamps, picture frames, accent rugs, garden accessories and artificial floral products.

Andrea can also be found each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Vienna Paint store in Sterling. She was retained by the store manager to offer design assistance to folks who come in and are faced with a myriad of color choices. As a Certified Benjamin Moore Color Consultant, Andrea helps customers to make the right choice for their home or business projects.
