Best Buy Burglary In Leesburg Leads To Arrest Of New York Man: Police
A man from New York was arrested on Sunday during a burglary at the Leesburg Best Buy store, the police department said in a news release.
LEESBURG, VA — A burglary at the Leesburg Best Buy store led to charges for a New York man on Sunday morning, the Leesburg Police Department said on Monday.
Authorities said the store sustained extensive damage. The police department did not report any injuries in connection with the robbery.
Police officers arrested Brayan Munevar Vargas, a 29-year-old man from New York, at the scene. Another suspect ran away and officers were unable to find him, according to the police department's press release.

Munevar Vargas is charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit larceny, wearing a mask to conceal his identity, and destruction of property. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
The burglary occurred just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Best Buy store on Potomac Station Drive NE in Leesburg. Officers detained Munevar Vargas at the scene, but they were unable to find the other suspect who ran away from the store, according to the police report.

The police department noted that no merchandise was stolen during the burglary.
