The Bluemont Concert Series is celebrating 40 years of performances this summer! Come and see the Pan Masters on Sunday, July 31st for the final Sunday evening concert in Leesburg, Virginia. The concert begins at 7:00 PM, and is held at Old Loudoun Courthouse, located at 18 East Market St. in historic, downtown Leesburg.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic to enjoy before the show. Admission is $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont Friends and seniors, $2 for kids under 12; proceeds go to support Bluemont’s year-round Artist-in-Education program in area schools. The popular Pan Masters Steel Orchestra thrills audiences with exotic island instruments, great music and dancing on the green. Their eclectic repertoire ranges from traditional island calypso, reggae and soca to the band's interpretations of Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, J.S. Bach and more.

Originally from the Islands of Trinidad and Tobago, the Pan Masters are perennial winners of Baltimore, Washington and New York City steel band competitions, including outstanding performance awards at the DC Caribbean Carnival for ten years running.

The Pan Masters have performed for Bluemont since 1982, and many of the current band members are children of the original Pan Masters. A Bluemont audience favorite, this fantastic performance is not to be missed.
