The Gateway Gallery presents a Reception honoring mothers on Sunday, May 3, from 2 pm until 4 pm. Beaded and embroidered jewelry by Round Hill resident Robin Wilkinson and watercolors painted by Round Hill resident Catherine Hillis will be featured. Wilkinson and Hillis are artist-members of the Co-operative Gallery, and will be on hand to discuss their work – and have a little fun as well.
We invite everyone to bring their mothers and grandmothers in. We would love to greet mothers of all kinds – including moms of pets - and we’d like to honor every mother in attendance with a flower.
“Mom” music from the 1940’s through today’s contemporary vibes will be rocking the walls of the Gallery during the reception. Bring your mom to hear old favorites such as “Mama He Treats Your Daughter Mean,” “Momma Don’t Dance,” “Mom and Dad’s Waltz” and “Mother In Law.” And of course, every mom will leave with a beautiful bloom!
