Centreville Residents awarded SAR Flag Certificate

On November 9, 2023 Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter Compatriot Mark Sink presented the Murdock's of Centreville a SAR Flag certificate. To earn the certificate a resident, business, church, or Government facility must properly display and manage the flag of our country. This means the flag must be taken down at sunset and raised at, or after sunrise, or, be illuminated at night. It also means the flag must be replaced when worn, torn, or soiled. The Murdock's met all requirements for receipt of a flag certificate.

The certificate reads: This certificate of Commendation is presented to George and Rhonda Murdock In Recognition of Exemplary Patriotism In the Display of the Flag of the United States of American".
