Chick-fil-A to Open in Leesburg Dec. 1

A one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals will be awarded to the first 100 customers.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place at the new Chick-fil-A in Leesburg this Thursday. The business, located next to Kohls at 1002 Edwards Ferry Rd Ne, will bring 70 new jobs and a lot of smiles to local parents and their children.

“We are thrilled to continue expanding and responding to the requests of our loyal customers to bring Chick-fil-A closer to where they live,” said Dan T. Cathy, President and COO, Chick-fil-A, Inc. “As we enter new regions and grow in established markets, we are grateful for our outstanding franchised operators and their team members who provide freshly prepared food and excellent service on both sides of the counter. Their efforts keep our customers coming back again and again.”

According to Chick-fil-A Leesburg Operator Danielle O'Dell Chick-fil-A has grown to be the second-largest chicken restaurant chain the country. Leesburg’s Economic Development Manager Marantha Edwards said the Town of Leesburg is happy to welcome the new restaurant.

“Chick-fil-A is a great company with a wonderful product, an award-winning creative campaign, and a strong community-involvement ethic," she said.

On Thursday, Chick-fil-A will award a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals to each of the first 100 adults waiting in line, age 18 and older with identification, at the new restaurant. The line officially opens at 6 a.m., Wednesday, November 30.

Free meals cards will be awarded Thursday, Dec. 1, sometime between 6 and 6:10 a.m. The restaurant will immediately open for business thereafter.
