Easter Egg Hunt At The Beach Comes To Loudoun County
A free, socially distanced egg hunt will come to the Douglass Community Center in Leesburg this weekend to celebrate the Easter holiday.
LEESBURG, VA — Families looking for an Easter egg hunt in Leesburg this weekend are in luck. The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services will host the Easter Egg Hunt at the Beach on Saturday, April 3.
The event will be held at the Douglass Community Center Dunes, according to a news release from the county. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission to the egg hunt is free, officials said. Although, registration is required. To register, attendees can call the community center at 703-771-5913.

Space is limited for the event, and registered participants will be staggered to ensure proper social distancing. Each group has 45 minutes scheduled for the hunt, according to a Facebook post by the county. The event will allow one adult to enter with each registered child.
This is the first year that the county is hosting an Easter egg hunt at the Dunes in downtown Leesburg. Officials said that participants will have the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny, and special treats will be provided.
