New local nonprofit to support post high school young adults and their families navigate towards successful independence

Easy Street Foundation, LLC a new non-profit foundation that helps paves the road to success for young adult with Asperger’s and their parents.

Easy Street Foundation, LLC is a new organization founded by local mother and teacher, Pamela Ruddy. This non-profit, with the support of the locally and nationally recognized Dr. Oberschneider, is working tirelessly to help young adults diagnosed with Asperger’s work towards independence in their post high school years. Most ASD young adults age out of programs and often have trouble navigating through the beginning of independent life. Parents of these young adults are in a more difficult position because legally they can’t help their children anymore. Easy Street Foundation is here to change that for these parents. At our website easystreetllc.wixsite.com/easystreetllc parents can find resources and support for their children. Our website also provides a blog, daily tips, books, interviews and opportunities for parents to help their young adults. More than just a website, Easy Street Foundation will provide in person networking with experts in the field. At our networking events we will have a variety of guest speaker from the renowned psychologists, employers, and college administrators who are sensitive to Asperger’s and the needs of their parents. These networking events will include breakfast, speakers and round table discussions. If you are interested in being apart of our network please contact us and join in the adventure.

Our first breakfast will be on October 11 8:00- 10:00 AM. This event will take place at Eggspecations in the Village at Leesburg. This is a FREE event. Dr. Oberschneider will be our first guest speaker. Come and join us for food, door prizes and find how to help your ASD young adult towards independence.
