People from nations all over the world are moving right into our local neighborhoods. They are coming from countries that are struggling with a collapsed economy, widespread corruption, ethnic/religious persecution, and civil war. They come with a desire to experience a brighter future for themselves and their children.

HOPE ILC was launched in the fall of 2013 to share the compassion and love of God through ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes. The program initially began with a handful of volunteers from local churches in the Leesburg area, offering 4 different levels of English classes to 25 students. Today the programs comprise 50 students from over 20 countries. US Citizenship classes have been added to further meet the needs of our immigrant community.

A warm atmosphere of learning and friendship develops among the students and the teachers. HOPE ILC meets at Evergreen Church just down the street from Heritage High School. HOPE ILC is thankful to Pastor Chip Giessler for graciously opening up the church campus for this important ministry.

Classes for FALL 2017 – SPRING 2018:

Registration: September 12 & 14 (9:30 am-1 pm); September 12 (7 pm-9 pm)

Day Class: Tuesday & Thursday (9:15 am–11:30 am)

Eve Class: Tuesday (7 pm-9 pm)

All classes start on Tuesday, Sept 19th.
