The REHAU Rotary Resolution Race is a 10K race and 4K fun run through the rolling hills of Morven Park. It is now one of the largest New Years Day races in the greater Washington, DC area, with 700 - 800 participants each year. Started in 1998 by the Rotary Club of Leesburg as a Club fundraiser to support the local community, the event has raised a total of more than $211,000 for local area charities. The 10K race attracts runners from VA, MD, and beyond. The family-friendly 4K fun run/walk is a real local event , with participants of all ages and levels of physical fitness. Participants, friends and families can warm up and enjoy live music before and after the race in the Ida Lee gym, where there is also a post-race brunch and awards ceremony with lots of random prizes.
