While many know Morven Park for its beautiful and historic setting and buildings, few people may realize that the 1,000-acre National Register Historic Property includes hundreds of acres of mature forest along the Catoctin Ridge. Join bird enthusiasts for a walk on this scenic property to count ducks and other migratory birds as part of a project sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. Bring binoculars, wear hiking shoes, and meet at 8 a.m. at the pond on the corner of Fairview and Old Waterford Road.
