The Town of Purcellville and American Legion Post 293 host a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Purcellville Teardrop. The program begins at 11:45 a.m. and includes a reading of the List of Fallen Heroes. Just before noon, American Legion officers will lay a wreath at the base of the flag, raise the flag to full mast and conclude with a trumpet Taps and gun salute.
