John DuRant will bring the Civil War alive at Franklin Park Arts Center
A featured Musician from the Motion Picture “GETTYSBURG,” John DuRant will perform in authentic Civil War attire, sing, recite poetry, and performing Civil War period ballads and story songs, using an original 1850’s French Parlor Guitar. This will be a unique opportunity to learn more about the music that sustained the folks back home while the cruel Civil War raged on. John’s performances are interactive and singing along is welcomed and encouraged. Coffee included, in a real mug.
