Reverend George Mink is Second Mount Olive Baptist pastor.

The MC for the evening will be Rev. Garrett Jackson of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Aldie, VA.

Leesburg Mayor Kristen Umstattd will provide a special welcome. Mayor Umstattd has previously attended the 2011 and 2013 events. “The Gifts Within event is always tremendously uplifting. It speaks to all of us who love Christ and want Him to be a constant presence in our lives. I always leave this very spiritual experience with a sense of joy and contentment,” she said.

The purpose of this event is two-fold; first to promote the necessity of a strong family unit and impact the lives of people with the transforming power of the good news of Jesus Christ and secondly, to support funding for our community outreach programs including free vacation bible school, missionary work and for the ongoing building up of the house of God which is aided by our sponsors and vendors.

The Gospel Angels of Washington DC

For thirty-one years, The Gospel Angels are still singing praises unto our God, our Lord, and our Savior. Under the anointed and steadfast leadership of founder, Preston Wiggins, God has blessed The Gospel Angels with the current members, Phil Lynah, Marshal Brown, Michael Ball, Jerry Matthews, Louis Blake and Chris Brewer. Songs written and sung by The Gospel Angels reflect their gratitude and love for God. These inspirational songs have touched the hearts of faithful listeners and believers throughout the world.

The newly released CD entitled “Turn it Around,” features such favorites as “Turn It Around” and “God Is Good” that are being played worldwide in countries like South Africa, Canada, Germany, Barbados, Japan and Korea.

Throughout this journey, The Gospel Angels have sang in numerous cities and states where they have ministered among well-known artists such as Luther Barnes, The Canton Spirituals, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Williams Brothers and the Sensational Nightingales.

In 2013, The Gospel Angels were invited to minister in song during several events at the Stellar Awards in Nashville, Tennessee and worship services in Huntsville, Alabama. The Gospel Angels are committed to delivering a spiritual message with urgency that is relevant to the events occurring throughout the world. Life experiences have become their testimony to share and display that God “can” change and bless lives by trusting and believing in His awesome power. The Gospel Angels stand united, diligent and in constant prayer that God will continue to elevate them spiritually, physically and musically to sing unto Him and His children for years to come.
