Harmony Preschool is Now Enrolling Children Ages 3-5 for Fall 2025
Preschool is a very worthwhile investment for families.

Hamilton, Va. – Harmony Preschool, which has educated children ages 3-5 since 1995, is now enrolling students for fall 2025. Parents seeking a preschool program for their child are encouraged to schedule a time to visit so they can meet the staff and see what the preschool has to offer.
As a ministry of Harmony United Methodist Church, the Christian based program offers morning classes from 8:45am-12:00pm. Families can extend their child’s day to 1:00pm by enrolling in one of their afterschool enrichment programs such as Creative Movement, Wee Little Arts and Stay & Play.
“A quality preschool education will set a child up for greater success in life by helping them strengthen their social and emotional development,” said Heather Robért, director of Harmony Preschool. “Preschool teaches children how to be learners and helps them understand how classrooms operate. Young children learn best through play.”

Preschool provides opportunities for children to learn how to make friends, listen to adults outside of their families, and share. They also build their pre-literacy skills through songs, rhymes, and story time. Students build a foundation for math through matching, sorting, or counting games.
Preschoolers develop fine motor skills through activities such as threading with beads, drawing, painting, or cutting with scissors. Children at Harmony Preschool are exposed to the skills they need for kindergarten through learning centers, art, manipulatives, stories, and active games.

Robért says the school focuses on offering a quality education in a loving and caring environment. “One of the things that families love about Harmony Preschool is the small class sizes. We enroll up to 12 students per class with two teachers. This gives the staff a chance to really get to know the children and for us to build relationships with the family. We foster a love of learning in every child and encourage our students to grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually.”
She noted that preschool is a very worthwhile investment for families. A study by MIT found that attending preschool at age 4 makes children significantly more likely to go to college. Researchers found that children who attended preschool also had fewer behavioral issues later on and are more likely to take the SAT and graduate from high school.
If a family is interested in touring the preschool, they can call Heather Robért at 540-338-0510 or email preschool@harmonyva.org to schedule a private tour. Registration forms are available on the preschool’s website.
Completed forms and the registration fee can be dropped off at the church office or placed in the drop box located outside next to the double glass doors.
