Hearing on Greenway Tolls Tuesday in Purcellville

Additional hearings are coming in Sterling and Richmond; written comments can be submitted.

The first of three public hearings set by the State Corporation Commission (SCC) as part of its investigation of the toll rates charged by Dulles Greenway operator Toll Road Investors Partnership II (TRIP II) begins at 4 p.m. today in Purcellville.

Such investigations are required when sought by a legislator. Delegate David Ramadan (R-87) made the request. Ramadan is collecting signatures on a petition to submit to the SCC as well.

  • April 9th in Purcellville at the Loudoun Valley High School (340 North Maple Avenue) at 4 p.m. & 7 p.m.
  • June 6th in Sterling at the Park View High School (400 W. Laurel Avenue) at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • July 18th in Richmond at the SCC (1300 East Main Street) at 10 a.m.
