Heritage High School Drama Presents - Agatha Christie's A Murder Is Announced

In celebration of the 125th anniversary of acclaimed mystery writer Agatha Christie, the Heritage High School Drama Department will present her suspenseful and witty play, A Murder is Announced.

In our play, an announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s house. The victim is not one of the house’s occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death, many twists and turns, and a dramatic confrontation just before the final curtain.

More than seventy students have been working diligently to bring this complex play to life. We invite you to see their hard work as we turn back the clock and head to Great Britain for this murder mystery gem.

A Murder is Announced will be performed at Heritage High School,

520 Evergreen Mill Rd, Leesburg on:

· Thursday, November 5th at 7pm

· Saturday, November 7th at 2pm and 7pm

· Thursday, November 12th at 7pm

· Saturday, November 14th at 2pm and 7pm

All performances will have assigned seats. Tickets are $10 and $15 and can be purchased online or at the door.
