Hope for Leesburg - a twenty day tent revival to bring souls to Christ
An evangelistic outreach led by Bill and Beth LaRock under a big tent on Edwards Ferry Road in Leesburg.
“Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full” - Luke 14:23.
Hope for Leesburg 2016 will be a 20-day series (except Sundays) of evening, and some daytime, evangelistic meetings under a big tent on the grounds of our gracious host, Crossroads Baptist Church. We will have a time of worship, and the gospel will be preached each night.
"Hope for Leesburg" is an evangelistic outreach led by Bill and Beth LaRock under a tent across from Heritage Square and The Fields on 850 Edwards Ferry Road NE in Leesburg from August 1-20. The heart of this outreach is for the body of Christ to come together to bring the Hope of Christ to all those in the community among us. Each night, services are led by worship teams and pastors from around the Leesburg community. By the end of the first week, we have seen several people give their hearts to the Lord for the first time and many others have recommitted their lives to Him. We started with a handful of people on the first Monday night and have increased participation to about 175 highly motivated people. God is already moving in a powerful way as Hope for Leesburg heads into week two!

He had just driven in from Texas that morning. She had been awaked by a dream about him at 4:30 AM and prayed fervently for him. That night, following a passionate plea to the lost by Pastor Salvador Henriquez, he came forward and wept with head bowed as he received Jesus Christ as his Savior.
He was one of two that night. Earlier that morning at Heritage Kids Club, two children also made first time decisions to follow Jesus.
All told, there were at least 5 new professions of faith over a three day period.
So far this summer through the ministry of Heritage Kids Club, Hope for Leesburg, and the VBS ministry of Rising Church has seen 22 decisions for Jesus Christ. How good does it get? Perhaps it just may be the beginning of something very anointed and spirit filled in our community.
I hope you will consider joining us tonight. We are breaking new ground and learning as we go, so we earnestly desire to be used by God to impact the Edwards Ferry Road community with the Gospel and we’d love to have you join us.
If you would like to help assist unaware residents in nearby communities attend the events, you can help in a big way!
