The IDI Group Breaks Ground on The Enclave in City of Fairfax
The Enclave Will Be First-Ever City of Fairfax Project for Watergate Developer Cecchi's Firm in Fifth Decade of Local Developments
Fairfax, Va. November 12 – The IDI Group Companies broke ground Saturday on the first of two buildings at The Enclave, an 80-unit luxury condominium community that marks the first City of Fairfax City development for Watergate developer Giuseppe Cecchi, whose firm is now in its fifth decade of residential development. More than 50 percent of the available first-phase homes were pre-sold prior to the ground breaking at The Enclave, located off Pickett Road next to the Army-Navy Country Club.
“It’s a privilege to bring our knowledge and expertise to the City of Fairfax,” said IDI President Cecchi. “We know that the community we create here will contribute to the wonderful quality of life of the city for many decades to come.” Forbes recently recognized Fairfax as one of the top three cities in the nation in which to live.
The Enclave is being built in two 40-unit phases, with completion of the entire community anticipated by early 2018. The unit mix includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes and includes five different models, with prices ranging from the upper $200s to the mid $500s. The on-site amenities include a beautifully appointed club room, lobbies with lounge seating, fitness center, landscaped outdoor spaces including a fire pit and seating, grilling area with gas grills, and available garage parking.
The City of Fairfax offers numerous additional amenities to residents of The Enclave, including: the adjacent Army Navy Country Club; the Dunn Loring/Merrifield station and Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro stations; several nearby parks and trails such as, Daniels Run Park, Thaiss Memorial Park, and Van Dyck Park. Many other amenities are available nearby, including: Eakin Community Park, Lake Fairfax Park, and Van Dyck Park; the shops and restaurants of the Mosaic District; nearby Tysons Corner; as well as everything Washington, D.C. has to offer.

The Enclave was designed by Heffner Architects of Alexandria, Va. John A. Moriarty & Associates of Arlington, Va. is the general contractor. Construction financing has been provided by Sandy Spring Bank. Condominium sales are being handled by McWilliams Ballard of Alexandria, Va.
