Inova Loudoun Hospital Needs Volunteers at Leesburg Campus

Leesburg, VA – Inova Loudoun Hospital needs adult volunteers to help on the Inova Loudoun Medical Campus – Leesburg. Specific needs are at the Information Desk, Diagnostic Imaging Center, Emergency Department and at Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (ILNRC).

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and serve one shift a week. Assignments are typically Monday – Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Information desk assignment would assist with way finding, greeting visitors and patients and assembling hospital information packets. The Diagnostic Imaging Center needs volunteers to assist in the waiting room area to speak with patients and family members and to assist staff. The Emergency Department at the Leesburg Medical Campus is in need of volunteers to assist clinical staff with prepping patient rooms, restocking supplies and making packets. Assistance is also needed in the activities department at ILNRC; this position includes setting up and running special events (i.e., bingo, trivia games, beauty salon, sing-alongs, and exercise classes) and helping to bring residents to and from activities. Patients at ILNRC are a variety of ages and include rehabilitation patients as well as nursing home patients.
