Inova Loudoun Hospital Offering “Ask the Expert” Lecture

Breast Health: Genetics, Screening and Self-Care for Prevention

As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will host “Breast Health: Genetics, Screening and Self-Care for Prevention” on Wednesday, October 19 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Join Inova experts for an informative breast health panel discussion focused on early detection and prevention. Attendees will learn more about screening options and guidelines, the benefits of 3D mammography, how genetics impact risk, and healthy habits that can help optimize health and minimize risk.

· Shannon Lehr, MD, FACS, Fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist and Medical Director of the Inova Breast Care Program at Inova Loudoun Hospital
