Concussion: New Hope and Insights

As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will host “Concussion: New Hope and Insights” on Wednesday, March 14 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

A concussion – or a mild traumatic brain injury – is a temporary disruption in the function of the brain caused by a forceful blow to the head or body, a fall, or another injury. Post-concussion syndrome (PCS) can include physical, cognitive and emotional problems that can make daily life a bit more challenging.

Join Anne Blackstone, MSPT, CBIS and Jen Baez, MSN, CPNP of the Inova Loudoun Concussion Clinic for an interactive discussion about latest advances in identifying and treating concussions.

The lecture will be held in the Inova Loudoun Concussion Clinic located in the 44035 Medical Office Building in Suite 500C on the Inova Loudoun Hospital Medical Campus – Lansdowne. On-site parking and valet services are available free of charge.
