Lansdowne Postal Connections Rallies Community to Send Your Love for Valentine's Day
Local Store Launches Letter-Writing Campaign for Military Men and Women
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Lansdowne’s Postal Connections is rallying the community to send notes of thanks to the nation’s service men and women.
From Monday, February 6 through Friday, February 10, Postal Connections stores will serve as the main letter-writing sites for local residents, businesses and community members to write a quick note to military men and women thanking them for their service to our country. At the end of the weeklong campaign, the Lansdowne’s Postal Connections store will send to the letters to Operation Gratitude, who will send the letters to various military bases across the U.S. and abroad in time for Valentine’s Day.
“Every day, the men and women who serve our country put their lives on the line for the love of their country,” said Fred Morache, COO of Postal Connections. “We are proud and grateful for the work that the troops do to protect us all; we’re hopeful that this small gesture of thanks will go a long way in showing them how appreciative the people of Lansdowne are for their service.”
