LCSO Seeks Suspect in June Assault in Sterling

LCSO Seeks Whereabouts of Natividad E. Alvarado-Arias, 49, of Herndon, in connection with wounding

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a Herndon, Virginia man wanted in connection with the June 19th malicious wounding that occurred on Enterprise Street in Sterling, Virginia.

An arrest warrant for malicious wounding has been obtained for 49-year-old Natividad E. Alvarado-Arias. His last known residence was on Early Fall Court in Herndon, Virginia.

Alvarado-Arias is accused of assaulting a 17-year-old on June 19th in Sterling, Virginia. It was reported that the victim was walking in the 400 block Enterprise Street around 2 a.m. with friends when they were confronted by several male subjects. Alvarado-Arias approached the group and after questioning their presence assaulted one of the victim’s friends.  The suspect shortly thereafter brandished a broken beer bottle and stabbed the victim causing serious injuries. The victim was taken from the scene by friends to Reston Hospital but later transferred to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he underwent surgery. The victim has since been released from the hospital.

If the information leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
