LCSO Sex Crimes Unit Arrest Three Men During Investigation

The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by the Northern Virginia-DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to vigorously pursue individuals involved in sexual exploitation of children

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Northern Virginia-DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested three suspects in August and September as part of ongoing investigations. The three suspects traveled to an area in Loudoun County to engage in sexual acts with children all under the age of 15. All three individuals began their communication via the internet with the minors. 
 
Anrug Sharma, 34, of Fairfax, VA was arrested in the Chantilly area on Aug. 31, on one count of Use of Communication Systems to solicit a minor (under 15). He was released on a $25,000 bond. 
 
Kenneth Matthew Maleski, 29, of Laurel, MD, was arrested in the Chantilly area on Sept. 6, on one count of Use of Communication Systems to solicit a minor and one count of Attempted Indecent Liberties with a minor. He was released on a $25,000 bond. 
 
Joseph Michael Confoy, 52, of Ashburn, VA was arrested in the Chantilly area on Sept. 15, on one count of Use of Communication Systems to solicit a minor and one count of Attempted Indecent Liberties with a minor. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
