Leesburg Animal Park to Host 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The event will take place April 7 and 8 beginning at 2 p.m.

The Leesburg Animal Park will host its 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 7 and 8 beginning at 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance welcoming visitors, posing for photos and handing out treats.

Thousands of colorful toy-filled eggs will blanket the fields along with six golden eggs, which will feature a special prize. Children will be split up into age groups to allow the younger children a head start in the egg hunt. 

In addition to the Easter festivities, pony rides and live animal encounters will also take place. Meet and greet with live bunny rabbits, visit with lambs, goats and other spring babies.

The Leesburg Animal Park is located at 19270 James Monroe Highway in Leesburg. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Thurs. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday-Sun. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $8.50 for children and seniors (kids under 2 are FREE) and $10.50 for adults. There is no additional fee to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt.
