Leesburg Businesses Go After $250,000 Grant

Several Leesburg businesses need at least 250 votes from you before they are even considered to be in the running for the grant.

Eight Leesburg-area businesses are competing for a $250,000 small-business grant offered by Chase Bank USA and LivingSocial and they need at least 250 votes to have a chance at the big money.

The grant contest's mission is to increase awareness of the important role small businesses play in local communities and to help small businesses grow. Voting ends June 30. The project is called Mission Small Business.

So far, Flow Yoga at 112 South Street SE is leading the Leesburg businesses with 312 votes as of 9 a.m. Monday morning. Charity Nation at 525-K East Market Street is second with 118 votes and Drunk Girl Cupcakes at 223 Dry Mill Rd SW is third with 49 votes.
