Leesburg Residents Arrested in Immigration Fraud Scam
Three residents arrested for false documentation scam.

A joint investigation concerning fictitious immigration documents conducted by the Leesburg Police Department and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force has resulted in charges being placed against three Leesburg residents for Obtaining Money by False Pretense.
On May 27, 2011, the Leesburg Police Department’s Emergency Response Team, assisted by members of the LPD Criminal Investigations Section and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force conducted search warrants on two residences in 0-100 block of Heritage Way, N.E. in Leesburg in connection with the investigation.

The investigation revealed that Tomasa Solis, Yesica Carolina Reyes-Moran, and Julio Cesar Guzman, were involved in an immigration documentation scam where they would target members of the Latino community by alleging that they could provide fictitious immigration documentation for cash.
Tomasa Solis, 51, Yesica Carolina Reyes-Moran, 21, and Julio Cesar Guzman, 24, all of Leesburg, were both charged with Obtaining Money by False Pretenses. Tomasa Solis was ordered held on a $2500 secure bond and Julio Cesar Guzman was ordered held on no bond. Yesica Carolina Reyes-Moran was released on a personal recognizance bond.
