Leesburg Restaurant Inspections: Violations At 3 Locations
The Loudoun County Health Department found several violations during recent inspections in Leesburg, Purcellville, and Lovettsville.
LEESBURG, VA — Officials from the Loudoun County Health Department inspected multiple restaurants across the Leesburg area from July 22 to July 27, including three locations that were cited with violations.
As coronavirus restrictions continue to loosen around the state, health inspectors are returning to conduct restaurant inspections in person. However, some visits, such as those for training purposes, can be conducted virtually.
Violations at restaurants typically focus on factors that can contribute to food contamination. The local health department also performs a re-inspection to ensure that possible violations have been corrected.

- Observation from 7/22/21: "Observed the back door in the ware washing room kept open with no means of preventing the entry of insects and pests". On 7/27/21 the back door still propped open with no screen. Per employees, a screen has been ordered. Facility has 90 days from routine inspection to correct.
