Leesburg Streets to Undergo Milling and Paving

Resurfacing work will begin Sunday and continue through Oct. 18.

A number of streets throughout Leesburg will undergo resurfacing work beginning Sunday and continue through Oct. 18. As part of the town’s regular streets maintenance program, milling and paving is a surface replacement process that eliminates existing pot holes and creates a smooth new road surface.

During milling and paving operations, crews will close one lane of the street at a time, so motorists should expect delays. In addition, no on-street parking will be allowed during the scheduled milling and paving operations.

The full schedule, which is subject to change due to inclement weather, can be found on the town's website. Nighttime work can also be expected.
