Local SAR Chapter delivers donations to the Veterans Medical Center Martinsburg, WV
Need Clothing items and Christmas Cards with a special greeting we purchased with donations from SAR Chapter Members
Compatriots of the Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter of Loudoun County generously donated $710 for the purchase of items needed by Veteran inpatients and residents at the Martinsburg, WV Medical Center. Every year the medical center issues a Christmas list. The Chapter used money donated to purchase items on the Christmas list. The Chapter also purchased 300 Christmas cards and personalized them by including a business card thanking veterans for their service. Chapter Veterans Affairs Chairman Martin Gainey, accompanied by his mother Karla, delivered donated items to the medical center on Monday, December 22.
