Local SAR Chapter participates in Brunswick, MD Veterans Parade

A float owned by Loudoun County based Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter (SMJC) Virginia SAR Compatriot Warner Workman participated in the Brunswick, MD Veterans Parade on Sunday, November 10. SMJC Compatriots riding float were: Isaac Workman driver, Warner Workman, Christopher Vaughan, Conner Vaughan and Ryan Vaughan. Michelle Phillips of the Pack Horse Ford Chapter WV DAR also road. Marching in the parade were Col. James Wood II Compatriots Paul Christensen, Chip Daniel and Allen Phillips.

As the float progressed down East Potomac Street, Mr. Workman spoke excerpts from founding documents of the United States, including the first few sentences of the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble to the Constitution.
