Loudoun Chamber of Commerce Green Business Award Gala 2013

SOL4R was recognized at the 2013 Loudoun County Chamber of Conference Green Business Challenge Gala by achieving Gold status for environmental sustainability. In addition SOL4R was nominated for the most improved business in Loudoun and received a 2nd award for the winner in the tenant-leased commercial category.

The Gala was the held at the Briar Patch B&B with 156 participants representing “GREEN” companies and non-profits in Loudoun County. SOL4R was represented by Owner/Partner, Dr. Mary A. Haberl and managing partner Ben Glenzer.  Each spoke to the gathering siting the importance of community leadership and involvement in projects like Loudoun’s business challenge that kicked off with a presentation by SOL4R in the spring of 2013 and ended at the Gala on October 30, 2013.

Each participant was given an opportunity to apply for an award based on the individual business environmental sustainability, green initiatives and leadership in initiatives to promote initiatives via education among other categories.

SOL4R is a renewable energy solutions provider and leader in driving the renewables market in NOVA with a series of forums in 2013-2014 focused on research based focus groups presentations. Also included in their strategies for driving the market are internships for college graduates who seek a real world work experience including opportunities for training in installations and software used in design and development of all PV solar projects.
