(Ages 16 & up) An Opera in two acts by Giocchino Rossini, “Barber” has proven to be one of the greatest masterpieces of comedy within music. Count Almaviva, disguised as the poor student Lindoro, hopes to make the beautiful Rosina love him for himself – not his money. Rosina is the young ward of the grumpy, elderly Dr. Bartolo. As Almaviva enlists the help of Figaro, the clever town barber, to resolve their dilemma, hilarity ensues! (Sung in Italian with English surtitles)
