Man Accused Of Abusing Dog Exposed Himself At Hospital, Police Claim
A Leesburg man accused of sexually abusing a dog exposed himself at a hospital and assaulted a staff member, authorities claimed.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Leesburg man who police accused of sexually abusing a dog exposed himself at Inova Loudoun Hospital on two occasions earlier this year, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office claimed. Authorities also said he assaulted a hospital employee during one of the incidents.
The man, Ariel Enrique Carrasco Intestroza, was previously charged with one count of felony sexual abuse of animals. He now faces two additional counts of indecent exposure and one count of assault.
Authorities said the indecent exposures occurred on Feb. 13 and Aug. 7 while Carrasco Intestroza was receiving medical treatment at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Carrasco Intestroza was accused of assaulting a hospital employee during his Feb. 13 visit to the facility.

The sheriff's office said it learned of the incidents while Loudoun County Animal Services investigated Carrasco Intestroza for animal cruelty.

On Aug. 7, first responders with Loudoun County Fire and Rescue and Loudoun County Animal Services responded to a caller who reported a dog bite. Investigators determined the dog, which belonged to a family member, was being sexually abused when it bit the man.
Carrasco Intestroza was arrested on Aug. 10 after an investigation by Loudoun County Animal Services.
If convicted of all charges, Carrasco Intestroza could face up to eight years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines. He could also be prohibited from owning an animal and ordered to attend a treatment program or obtain psychiatric counseling.
