Fairfax Man Charged In Fatal Loudoun Stabbing: Police
A man from Fairfax has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Loudoun County on Sunday morning, police said.

LEESBURG, VA — A suspect is in custody in connection with the fatal stabbing of one person and the injury of another resident at a home in the Leesburg area on Sunday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Melvin Wasike, a 22-year-old man from Fairfax County. They also identified the homicide victim as Michael Fadely, a 46-year-old Leesburg resident.

The sheriff's office said that a second person was also stabbed. They have not been publicly identified, but police said the second victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
The homicide occurred in the 40800 block of Newton Place in the Barclay Woods community, just south of the Town of Leesburg.

Deputies originally responded to the area around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday to investigate a stabbing in a home.
In an update on Sunday evening, the sheriff's office said they were still investigating the circumstances that led to the stabbing.
Wasike is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and breaking and entering while armed with intent to commit murder. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
