Naturalization Ceremony held in Fairfax

Seventy-five new citizens of the United States were naturalized on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Fairfax County Government Center. Ten members of Virginia Society Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and one member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) formed an eight flag color guard to present colors for the new Citizens. The SAR members attended the DAR sponsored reception in the Forum after the ceremony where they made themselves available for photographs with new citizens.

Participating chapters and members included: Sgt Maj John Champe: Barry Schwoerer, Steve Van Deusen and Mark Sink; Fairfax Resolves: Jim Cordes and Forest Crain; Colonel Fielding Lewis: Bill Tugman; Colonel James Wood II: Dale Corey, Brett Osborn, Chip Daniel; Colonel William Grayson: Andrew Mills. Mrs.Fuchs from the Fairfax Chapter DAR carried the DAR Flag.
