Pigs Reported On Loose in Leesburg Area

Keep your distance from them, says Loudoun County Animal Services.

Two pigs are roaming the area west of Leesburg and evaded capture Wednesday afternoon, and animal control officers are urging residents to keep away from the animals.

The pigs were seen roaming the countryside in the vicinity of Gospond Lane and Hunts End Place, says Loudoun County Animal Services. They are described as pot-bellied mix-type pigs and piebald in color (black and white).

They are believed to be boars and have visible tusks. One has a “U” shaped notch in its left ear.
