Robbers Tail Pizza Delivery Man, Steal Cash
Late-night incident near Leesburg, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
A pizza delivery man was robbed of his cash after a delivery near Leesburg Tuesday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The victim, a 40-year-old Ashburn man, told deputies that he was traveling at 10 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 43700 block of Lees Mill Square.
He noticed that there was a white Honda Civic that appeared to be following him and that the car parked nearby when he stopped to deliver the pizza.
When returning to his car, the victim said that two men got out of the Civic and approached him, demanding money and implying that they had a gun.
They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
