South Carolina Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash Near Leesburg: Police
The operator of the motorcycle, Adam R. Comrie, 30, of South Carolina died at the scene of the crash on N. King Street near Leesburg.
LEESBURG, VA ā A motorcyclist and a rider were traveling northbound on N. King Street toward James Monroe Highway north of Leesburg early Saturday morning when they ran into the median, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The operator of the motorcycle, Adam R. Comrie, 30, of South Carolina, died at the scene. An adult female rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. She remains hospitalized. The crash occurred around 1:20 a.m. Saturday.
When the motorcycle crashed into the median, it struck several signs. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the LCSO. The crash remains under investigation by the LCSO's Crash Investigations Unit, the sheriff's office said.
