Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church will be sponsoring a blessed, spirit filled and anointed musical concert on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 4:00 PM featuring “The Spiritual Harmonizers of Northern Virginia.”

The group consists of the following members: Van Henderson, Roger Berryman, Willie Fields, Greg Griffin, Larry Jackson, Franklin Perkins and King Stewart. They are men that reflect their Christian ministries through their music. You don’t want to miss this great event.

The Spiritual Harmonizers based out of Gainesville, Virginia are a dedicated group of men who formed in March 2003 to give praises to the Lord through song. The group consists of seven members with many years of experience in Traditional Gospel Quartet Singing. Many of the group’s members have recorded on Gospel Recording Labels and have been blessed to receive awards in appreciation of their music ministry. Since their beginning the group has traveled mostly on the East Coast and South serving the Lord with their unique music ministry.

In 2006, the group released its first (sold-out) DVD entitled “Somewhere in Time” ©. In 2009 they recorded their first CD entitled Peace in The Valley © which today can still be heard on the Radio Airwaves in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, DC, West Virginia as well as Virginia. Peace in the Valley was one of the top played CD’s locally on WHUR’s Patrick Ellis Program FM 96.3 in Washington, DC. The Spiritual Harmonizers released their latest CD project in February 2013, entitled “Put It in His Hands”© which is now on the radio airways.

However, it is important to note that The Spiritual Harmonizers, while entertaining in spirit, believe that the true meaning behind their singing is not to entertain but to win souls to Christ. The Spiritual Harmonizers like to say, “We are dedicated to our Savior and we minister through our music.”

Second Mount Olive Baptist Church located in Hamilton, Virginia was founded in 1892. The congregation desires to exalt God and encourage Christians toward spiritual maturity. Also to represent Christ in the earth, that through Him the world might be saved, with the final source of authority, in faith, doctrine, life, discipline and practice, being the Holy Bible; and the government and ruling of the Church be that as set forth in the New Testament.
