Summer Camp at INMED: More than Fun & Games
Summer camp at INMED's Family & Youth Opportunity Centers offers new experiences and academic enrichment to children of low-income families.
From science experiments to cooking classes to touring a real fire truck, children at INMED’s summer camp at the Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling are experiencing the world around them in new ways. Activities include chess lessons, music appreciation, gardening and horticulture, arts & crafts and mindfulness meditation. Partners from Five Stones Institute to Loudoun County Master Gardeners and 4H and Loudoun County Fire & Rescue are sharing their skills, talents and passions with our campers. It’s inspiring to watch.
We still have a few slots still available for Session 3. For details and potential scholarship opportunities, contact elewis@inmed.org or call 703-729-4951.
