Suspect Wanted for Felony Child Abuse Arrested
John Thomas Gallihugh, 30, wanted for felony child abuse, was taken into custody Monday

John Thomas Gallihugh, 30, , was taken into custody by members of the United States Marshals Service and Maryland's Frederick County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
Gallihugh, a Loudoun County resident with no fixed address, was sought by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators after they learned back in October that a 3-year-old boy received physical injuries from the suspect.
A warrant was obtained for his arrest on charges of felony child abuse. Gallihugh also has a criminal capias for failure to appear in court for an assault and battery of an adult that occurred in June 2011.
Authorities learned the suspect was in the Frederick County, Maryland area and he was apprehended this morning. Gallihugh is currently being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Loudoun County, Virginia.
