Taxi Driver Assaulted, Stiffed In Leesburg: Police

A taxi driver was assaulted and then stiffed by a man early Sunday morning in Leesburg, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LEESBURG, VA—A taxi driver was assaulted and then stiffed by a man early Sunday morning in the area of Coton Manor Drive and Coton Commons Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Darya Assareh, 26, of Leesburg, was charged with public intoxication. Police responded to the area shortly before 3:30 a.m. They found that Assareh struck the driver, didn't pay his fare and fled on foot before being nabbed nearby.
