Tea at The Marshall House

Join us for our 2015 Katherine Marshall Tea Series at The Marshall House, hosted by The George C. Marshall International Center.

During the time General and Katherine Marshall lived in Leesburg, gardening provided a great escape from the pressures of their public lives. GCMIC welcomes master gardener, Leslie Solitario, whose expertise in keeping “spirit of place” at the heart of her designs is exemplified in her restoration of The Marshall House historic gardens.

Enjoy Traditional English tea on the Stone Court, followed by a talk in the Haub Exhibit Room. In inclement weather, tea will be served in the Marshalls’ dining room and living room. An assortment of tea, sandwiches, scones and sweets will be served.
