Teen Night at the Bible Reading Marathon in Leesburg
Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted Teen Night 6:00 PM to Midnight.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted Teen Night at the Bible Reading Marathon (BRM) on Monday, April 30th from 6:00 PM to Midnight. FCA is very proud to be involved with the Bible Reading Marathon. The high school students who came to read stated that publicly reading God’s Word gave them a sense of boldness they had not experienced before and observing each other read strengthened their courage that they could live out their faith with less anxiety knowing there was a greater community around them experiencing the same challenges.
During the BRM other marathoners prayed for the churches and for unity among the churches. All prayed for our teens and for the generations to come, that we would pass the baton of the Gospel to the next generation.
Barry Cates, FCA Loudoun County Representative stated that "We are very pleased Loudoun Awakening and BRM were willing to dedicate an entire evening to spotlight the motivated students we have involved in FCA and allowing them to stretch themselves."
